Pantry Garden
We are grateful for the produce donations we receive from our local retailers. But, they are typically past their peak freshness. So, they must be consumed immediately. And, we don't always receive the variety of produce we'd ideally like to provide clients.
We provide two weeks of groceries through our flagship In-Store Shopping experience, and we believe that Produce is Paramount to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. By tending our own garden here, we are able to give clients produce picked right off the vine that day! That gives them a longer window of time to consume them. We can also plant items that we rarely receive, but our clients enjoy, like okra or personal-size watermelons.
As our space here is limited, we also partner with Fresh Food Connect to receive donations of fresh produce from home gardeners. Check them out at https://freshfoodconnect.org/
